All treatments are carried out personally by an NMC-registered nurse and nurse prescriber. As a nurse-led clinic, you can expect a professional, individualised approach to your care from consultation through to treatment and aftercare.

Yes. A consultation is an essential part of safe and responsible aesthetic care. Before treatment, I will discuss your medical history, current medication, allergies, previous treatments, concerns and desired outcome. This allows me to assess your suitability and ensure that any treatment recommended is appropriate for you. Where prescription-only medicines are involved, a clinical assessment and prescribing decision will be made before treatment.

Your consultation is a chance for us to discuss what you would like to achieve and for me to assess your individual needs. We will discuss your medical history, medication, allergies, previous aesthetic treatments and any factors that may affect your suitability. I will explain the proposed treatment, expected results, potential risks and side effects, aftercare and any relevant alternatives. My approach is always honest and patient-centred. If I don't feel a treatment is appropriate for you, I will tell you.

No. Your safety always comes first. As a Nurse Prescriber, I have a professional responsibility to assess whether a treatment is clinically appropriate for you. Not every treatment is suitable for every person, and there may be circumstances where I recommend against treatment or suggest an alternative approach. I will never recommend or prescribe a treatment simply because it has been requested.

As with any medical or aesthetic treatment, there can be risks and potential side effects. These vary depending on the treatment, your individual circumstances and your medical history. Before proceeding, I will explain the relevant risks, expected side effects, potential complications and aftercare requirements so that you can make an informed decision. Your safety, informed consent and realistic expectations are central to every treatment.

Your care doesn't end when you leave the clinic. You will be given appropriate aftercare advice and information about what to expect following your treatment. If you have a concern afterwards, you can contact LA Aesthetics for advice and support. Any unexpected symptoms or potential complications will be taken seriously and assessed appropriately. Where necessary, appropriate medical advice, further assessment or referral will be arranged.

Clear aftercare advice is provided following your treatment, tailored to the procedure you have received. I will explain what you can expect during your recovery, what you should avoid and which symptoms would require you to get in touch. Where appropriate, follow-up or review appointments will also be offered. I believe good aesthetic care is about supporting you throughout your treatment journey, not simply providing a treatment and sending you home.nt or referral will be arranged.
